  • Jennifer Robinette (GPC/2011) currently teaches at Concord University in Beckley, W.Va.

  • Railey Brown (COM/2008) was married on Saturday August 20, 2011 to Edward Ross Testerman III.  Bown is employed by Westbrook Partners in New York.

  • Carla J. Stoffle (SLIS/1969), dean of libraries at the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona, is the 2012 recipient of the Joseph W. Lippincott Award of the American Library Association.  This award, established in 1938 is given annually to an individual who has provided distinguished service to the profession of librarianship. 

  • Celia Wall (COM/Ph.D./2000) retired from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Murray State University, July 2011.

  • Craig Cheatham (MAS/1984) an investigative reporter at KMOV-TV in St. Louis recently received the 2011 national Edward R. Murrow award for their documentry "State of Education."

  • Granuaile Lythande O'Flanagan (SLIS/1987) has notified us that she has relocated to Thailand.

  • Sue Alexander,(JOU/1964), widow of John S. Alexander, died Sun, March 11, 2012. She was a member of the Lexington Lions and Lioness Club and was very active in equine activities and memberships.

  • Megan Boehnke (JOU/2007) is a higher edcuation reporter for the Knoxville News Centrinel in Knoxville, Tenn.

  • Amber Wash (COM/2011)  is a proposal analyst for the Corporate Proposal Center at Humana, Inc. 

  • Jim Borgaard (COM/2011) is a logistics account executive at Total Quality Logistics.

  • Marilyn Moosnick, (JOU/1952) a Lexington community leader who was passionate about the arts and human rights, died at her home on October 18, 2011. She was 81.  Mrs. Moosnick was the first person to chair the Lexington Arts and Cultural Council (now LexArts) in 1972. She helped found the Lexington Ballet Company and the Lexington Opera Society, and served on the boards of directors of Lexington Children's Theatre and the Living Arts and Science Center.  Mrs. Moosnick also was a member of the National Endowment for the Arts Expansion Arts Panel and a member of the board of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies. In 2008, she received the Michael Newton Award from Americans for the Arts, the nation's leading non-profit organization for advancing the arts in America. She was an education reporter for the Lexington Leader in the 1950’s.  Years after she left The Lexington Leader, she returned to journalism as producer and host of "Bluegrass Personalities" on WLEX-TV (Channel 18).

  • Erin Donahue (ISC/2005) now works at DiGennaro Communications as the account director.  DiGennaro is the top independent PR agency in New York, with a niche in the marketing services, advertising, digital, media and entertainment industries. 

  • Kim Huston (COM/1981) is the current President/COO of the Nelson County (Ky.) Economic Development Agency and the author of "Small Town Sexy, The Allure of Living in Small Town America." published in 2009. 

  • Capt. Ben Burdette (TEL/2004) was named the Air Force 2010 Space and Missile Systems Operator of the year on Aug. 22.  He is currently the assistant flight commander for the Malmstrom Flight at the 392nd Training Squadron at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas.

  • Woodvall Moore (SLIS/1972) has retired from Evangel University after 35 years.  He was the director of library and media services.  He has been granted professor emeritus status.

  • Jessica Burnett (JOU/2004) is a licensed medical aesthetician for Drs. Alexander Digenis and Brian Thornton with Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery.  She is also pursuing a master's degree in special education at Georgetown College.  Burnett resides in Brandenburg, Ky.

  • Kate Bunnell McLean (ISC/2008) is the meeting and event panner for Keeneland Race Course in Lexington.

  • Erik Kirkhorn (JOU/1986) is the state government and industry relations director for Toyota Motor North America.  He resides in Oakton, Va.

  • Townsend Miller (COM/2009) is the assistant development director for the Salvation Army in Lexington.

  • Tyler Walker (COM/2011) is the group sales repersentative for the Lexington Legends.  Walker  resides in Lexington.
