Instructional Communication is one of the fastest growing interest areas in the communication discipline. Together with the Division of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Media in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Division of Instructional Communication plays an extremely important role in serving undergraduate students by delivering cutting-edge education in integrated communication skills as part of the university’s new general education curriculum (Communication across the Curriculum—CXC).
