Faculty & Research

Faculty members in the College of Communications and Information Studies are distinguished along several dimensions, including international recognition for their research and expertise, service as editors of our discipline’s journals, and leadership as office holders in our national and regional organizations. Faculty are engaged in multiple funded research projects, and at no other time in the College’s history have we had more faculty funded as principal and co-investigators.

Recent UK graduate Nick Stacy worked with ZAMCOM professors Goodson Zulu and Justina Banda, and UK professor Mel Coffee during 10 weeks at the media training institute in Lusaka, Zambia this summer.
