Professor Johnston Honored with Beta Phi Mu Award

Dr. Melissa Johnston, who focuses on school media librarianship, was selected to receive one of two $300 Beta Phi Mu Gamma Chapter (of the Florida State University School of Library and Information Science) scholarship recognition awards for 2011. Each year, the faculty members of the School of Library and Information Studies select two new members who best exemplify Beta Phi Mu’s national standards of scholastic and professional achievement and leadership in the Library and Information Studies field.
